Valle de Mena
Valle de Mena
People awareness event.
The Declaration of the municipality of Valle de Mena as a Star Park contributes to strengthen the energy-efficiency actions carried out in outdoor lighting by the municipality since late 2009. This act of awareness and support of the Valle de Mena citizens to the Starlight Declaration and to the adherence of their Municipality to the Initiative itself is organized in the sustainable energy week as a means to support sustainable development by promoting the improvement of energy efficiency through the adoption of an intelligently designed outdoor lighting system. This would also contribute to biodiversity protection, cultural and scientific development and to the promotion of a sustainable tourism respectful with the environment.
