The commitment of Fuerteventura

This public presentation organized by the Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve aims to announce and discuss the importance of the signing up of the island municipalities and Council to the Covenant of Mayors. The BR of Fuerteventura is the first of the Canary Islands that has started this process.
The strategy of the Reserve, articulated in its Action Plan, is a commitment to move towards a sustainable energy island in terms of renewable energy, addressing the water-energy binomial, the mobility, and the outdoor lighting in accordance with the Starlight strategy.
