Starlight in La Rioja
Dissemination day - EU Sustainable Energy Week
Presentation of the energy efficiency and sustainable tourism plan developed by the Government of La Rioja to obtain the declaration of the Biosphere Reserve as a "Starlight Reserve" and a "Starlight Destination."
The proposal includes the implementation of an action plan that includes the development of a Sustainable Outdoor Lighting Strategic Plan to increase energy efficiency and reduce light pollution in all the municipalities within the Reserve, thereby contributing to sustainable land development and ecotourism promotion, as well as the protection of biodiversity and the environment.
